Eco-sponsoring for underwater biodiversity: LaSelva helps to prevent trawl fishery off the Tuscan coast with money from the sale its organic Bio-Cantina wine.

The initiative la casa dei pesci (translation: house of fish) against illegal trawl fishery already put into place 24 pieces of art and several bollards in the sea along the coast of the Parco Naturale della Maremma and in between Punta Ala and Monte Argentario. LaSelva advertises the project and recently financed the transport of the twelve-ton block of marble crafted by the artist Giorgio Butini through the sale of wine. The marble will be another piece of art integrated into the underwater art park

Storytelling for the wine department

The limited edition Materia Bianca – Maremma Toscana Bianco DOC 2018 and Materia Rossa – was specifically introduced to protect the seabed. The wine from the Morellino di Scansano DOCG has been listed in German organic specialist shops with a “casa dei pesci” label since April and is calculated for the entire year 2019. It can be ordered from LaSelva at info@laselva.bio including promotional material for the storytelling in the wine department of specialist retailers.
