Veganz expands retail activity in Austria

The vegan supermarket chain Veganz is cooperating with the food retailer Spar. According to a press report, up to 40 Veganz brand vegan products will be available from now on across the whole of Austria.

The report goes on to say that with this unique cooperation in the Austrian food trade Spar is expanding its role as the major provider of vegan products. The chair of the board Dr. Gerhard Drexel is delighted to be working together with Veganz: “We're always looking for innovative  collaboration that enhances our range with trendy products of the highest quality. We were immediately convinced by the corporate philosophy of Veganz, that appeals to vegans, vegetarians and flexitarians as well. This means we can offer our customers the biggest vegan selection.“ And Markus Kaser, Interspar Austria's managing director, adds: “Rising demand is clear evidence of the trend to vegan and vegetarian food – vegetarian and vegan are the new organic.“
