Ukraine: Eco-Expo in September

The 11th International Exhibition ECO-Expo will take place on September 27-30, 2017 at the International Exhibition Center in Kiev.

The Ukrainian organic market has grown for 420 % since 2011 till 2016 (read our recent reportl) and experts expect the considerable growth in 2017, too. Also the organic cultivated lands has been increased to more than 400 000 hectares. About 60 % of Ukrainians are ready to switch to organic food if its price exceeds the cost of standard products only by 10-25 %. If the cost will be higher by 25-40 %, the number of potential consumers will fall to 47 % of Ukrainians. These facts are reported by the organizer of the Eco-Expo.

The expo gives the opportunity to exhibitors to introduce their companies and products to the Ukrainian market and find the potential customers as well as to  international visitors, the Eco Expo explains. Last year there were 80 exhibitors at the expo and almost 18.000 visitors. The exhibition is clustered to Eco-Food, Eco-Beauty, Eco-Medicine, Eco-Childhood, Eco-Home and Eco Lifestyle and more. The expo is open for private persons and professionals.
With the educational program the Eco Expo wants to promote the healthy and active life-style and the preservation of the environment. Ther will be also seminars and master classes to attract the attention to the problems of the sector and to demonstrate innovation.
