The Sustainable Foods Summit will take place in Amsterdam in July

The European edition of the Sustainable Foods Summit will be held in Amsterdam on July 7 and 8, 2022. The Summit will discuss the implications of the Ukrainian conflict on food security and sustainability issues.

Among others, the following questions will be addressed: which solutions can organic farming provide to rising food and energy prices? How can regional/local food production be encouraged? How is consumer demand for sustainable and organic foods affected by recent events? What is the pricing outlook for organic ingredients and plant-based proteins? Furthermore, the founder of Ecovia Intelligence, Amarjit Sahota, will give some projections on the sustainable and organic food market.

Since 2009, the Sustainable Foods Summit has been covering major developments in sustainability and eco-labels in the food industry. The executive summit now takes place in the major geographic regions of the world: North and Latin America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific.
