The fifth World Organic Forum was held in Kirchberg Castle, Baden-Württemberg, at the end of June. Its focus was "Localizing SDGs" - the local implementation of the UN Agenda 2030 with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. More than 250 participants from all over the world followed keynotes, panels and workshops in presence and on screens.

Prominent people like former Club of Rome co-president Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker, Alternative Nobel laureate Vandana Shiva, presidents of IFOAM and Slow Food, and winners of the One World Award gave their insight. King Okyenhene from Ghana gave a speech on the topics of sustainability, ecology and climate protection, to which he is very committed.

Here you can watch the speech of Vandana Shiva. Furthermore, a 12-minute long film about the recent World Organic Forum can be found here (in German).
