September 23 is the EU Organic Day – join many other initiatives across Europe in celebrating that day. Do you plan an event? Send it to IFOAM Organics Europe and they will share it on their website and social media.

IFOAM members will have the opportunity to take part in a webinar on August 10 from 14:00 until 15:30 to get more information about the the EU Organic Day and the possibilities in taking part.

About the EU Organic Day

Last year, the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission, signed a Joint Declaration officially instating 23 September as EU Organic Day. The purpose is to check how Europe's goal of reaching 25 per cent under organic management by 2030 has progressed. Also, it is supposed to show new trends in consumer demands and raise awareness of organic and of the implentation of the EU Organic Action Plan.
