Sana: 30th Edition in Bologna

For the 30^th time, Sana, Italy's international exhibition for organic and natural products, will take place at Bolognafiere from 7^th – 10^th September 2018 in Bologna. The organic fair, organized by Bolognafiere - in collaboration with FederBio and with the support of the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Seas and the Ministry for Agriculture, Food and Forestry - will provide international producers, distributors, buyers, organisations and trade associations as well as certification bodies with the possibility to represent their work and to network with other stakeholders from the organic sector.

Growing exhibition area

Compared to the last edition, the number of pavilions, dedicated to Organic Food, Natural and Organic Body Care and Green Lifestyle, will increase to seven,  in order to welcome an increasing number of exhibitors. In 2017, Sana hosted 920 exhibitors (+10% compared to 2016) on a total area of 22,000m² (+13%), as well as 70 items on the agenda, such as conventions, workshops and presentations and 2,500 meetings planned between companies and international buyers from 30 countries (+11%).

Varied program

The program of the 30^th Sana Edition will include three initiatives accompanying the event: Sana Novità, presenting the latest innovations Italian from Italian organic and natural productions; Sana Academy, discussing current topics regarding the organic sector; Sana Organic Survey, providing the latest data from the sector; as well as Sana City, with events and meetings transforming Bologna into a green microcosm. Moreover, the exhibition program offers a number of talks, presentations, discussions and workshops for interested parties.
