Poland: Warsaw University offers studies "Organic Agriculture and Food Production”

The Faculty of Agriculture and Biology at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), will launch the new international studies "Organic Agriculture and Food Production (OAFP).”
The study starts in the next academic year (1st October 2018). The Faculty of Agriculture and Biology has the aim to offer the students a holistic and interdisciplinary knowledge in the area of organic agriculture and food production. Specialists from different faculties of Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and from abroad will present the contents.
Aim of the study
The BSc-study OAFP are constructed according to the expectations of the potential employers within the organic food production. The focus is on the innovative teaching methods activating students and preparing them to the future employment, informs the SGGW. The studies will offer good possibilities to develop necessary skills and knowledge in desired specialities so that the alumni of OAFP are qualified for jobs in the organic food production, processing, trade, also in different companies connected with education, dissemination and advisory services.

Excellent initiative.A scientific approach is required as there are a whole load of misconceptions with organic agriculture and food.
