Poland: turnover of wholefood retailer Organic Farma reaches 15 million euros

The biggest wholefood retailer in Poland,  the Organic Farma Group, increased its turnover by 25 % in 2014. It grew from 52 million zloty (€12.5m) to over 65 million zloty (€15.1m), which equates to a gain of 25 %. By means of a franchise system, their aim is to be operating 100 specialist wholefood stores all over Poland by the end of 2017. Organic Farma is also the owner of Ekosfera24 and Organic24 and has a share in the subsidiaries Eco-Vital (28 %), the wholefood wholesaler Bio-Planet (100 %) and the restaurant chain Green Way (30 %).

The Organic Farm Health Company assumes that the most important customers for its products and services in the years ahead will be the internal market. So the strategy of the for 2015-2017 is to rapidly extend the newtwork of wholefood stores and to search for more franchise partners. Organic Farm Health Company is planning to open more stores in the best shopping centres and shopping streets in cities with more than 300,000 inhabitants. Portalspozywczy.pl tells us that the company also intends to acquire permises in the best locations and streets in large and medium-size towns so that it can integrate stores into the new concept of convenience.
