Organic Academy Leadership Course Europe

IFOAM - Organics International recently announced the fourth edition of the European Organic Academy Leadership Course. The Organic Academy is calling for applications from candidates in a position to further develop the organic sector from within or to support its growth from outside. Candidates have to submit their application until the 15th of April 2016.

The first residential session will be hold from the 17th to 24th of July 2016, in the Netherlands. The online learning sessions take place between July 2016 and January 2017. The second residential session is in February, 2017, in Germany, in tandem with BIOFACH 2017. The tuition fee is of 3100 Euros. The fee covers tuition, webinars, transport for study visits, training materials, accommodation, lunches and refreshments during residential sessions.

The fee excludes all travel costs to and from the training venue. Scholarships will be considered on a case-by-case basis, for qualifying candidates with financial constraints. The participant commits to a total of 25 days to the course, with 2 residential modules (Netherlands, Germany) and 10 webinars. The participant also has to prepare a country or thematic report and a presentation, to develop an action plan for a concrete project and to
release one public contribution (e.g. conference paper).
