New Managing Director at CCPB

Lorenzo Pileri is the new Managing Director of CCPB. The company, based in Bologna, Italy, certifies organic food and organic non-food products. Since the end of 2019, it has been indirectly part of TÜV NORD GROUP via the holding company OICOS. “With Lorenzo Pileri, we will continue on the successful path we have taken and give the company a stronger international orientation,” says Ulf Theike, Managing Director of TÜV NORD Systems and Director of the Strategic Business Segment Resources4Life in the Industrial Services Business Unit.

After graduating from the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Milan and obtaining his MBA from the SDA Bocconi Management School in Milan, Lorenzo Pileri has worked for more than twenty years in the food industry in various positions, both with Italian companies and in Switzerland, Denmark and Spain. He succeeds Fabrizio Piva, who successfully led CCPB for 14 years.

CCPB employs about 250 people in six Italian locations and has certified about 13,000 companies. TÜV NORD is one of the market leaders in the field of food and feeding stuff certification according to internationally recognized standards such as IFS and BRC Food, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP. In addition, the company operates laboratories for food and feeding stuff testing in India, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates.
