On 4 June 2014, a new supermarket has opened in Stockholm, called Paradiset. The shop is on 1,600 m² and so far the largest organic shop in Sweden. Besides the shop, there is room to enjoy dishes at the food court. One of Sweden's organic pioneers, Saltå Kvarn will have a bakery upstairs. Paradiset is open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A full organic range is offered, Ekoweb reports . Organic, artisanal and natural are the key words in sthe supermarket. The staff is working hard to make the producers visible behind the articles that are on offer. Some Swedish producers that collaborate with Paradiset from the start are Hermelins for organic vegetables, Warbo Kvarn (a grain producer). Mälarchark (sausages), Anderssons & Tillmans Chark (meat), Blåklint (dairy products), Torfolk Gård (juices and jam), and Hjordnära (dairy products). According to information from Ekoweb, the next stores are already planned to open in 2016 and 2017. More information (in Swedish) is available here and here.
