IFOAM Annual Report 2016 is published

‘Powered by People’ is the title of the recently published IFOAM Annual Report 2016. It summarizes general information about the worldwide organic movement and countless actions of IFOAM staff, World Board, ambassadors, volunteers, self-organized-structures, members and like-minded partners.

IFOAM´s CEO Markus Arbenz says in his introduction: „Sometimes we are loud and clear, such as during the Monsanto Tribunal or the ‘We Are Fed Up’ demonstrations. Sometimes, we act behind the scene, for instance in contributing to shaping the global SDG discussion or in training rural service providers in remote mountain villages for nutrition sensitive agriculture. Always we are committed wholeheartedly to the cause of the organic movement for truly sustainable agriculture and food systems around the globe.“

New mission statement

„Leading Change, Organically!“ This is the new mission statement of IFOAM – Organics International following the Organic 3.0 concept. „This mission can only be fulfilled with people like you“, explains Arbenz and invites people to  read the report and join the movement e.g. at the Organic World Congress and the General Assembly in India in November 2017.
