How Covid-19 impacts sustainability in the natural cosmetics industry

The Corona pandemic has changed the way consumers buy and how they use cosmetic products as well as it has changed the whole industry from raw materials supply to the distribution of products. The resulting challenges and opportunities for the industry will be discussed at the first digital European Sustainable Cosmetics Summit on 2-5 November 2020.

At the twelfth edition of the European Sustainable Cosmetics Summit, organized by Ecovia Intelligence, stakeholders from the cosmetics and beauty sector will discuss the influence of Covid-19 on the natural cosmetics industry. The organizer's aim is to encourage sustainability in the beauty industry by bringing together key stake-holders and debate major industry issues in a high-level forum.

Alongside the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit, the Sustainable Beauty Awards will be co-hosted digitally on 3 November 2020. The aim of the award-presentation is to give recognition to cosmetic and related firms who are pushing the boundaries of sustainability in the beauty industry.
