Espacio Orgánico – a centre dedicated to organics

Espacio Orgánico, located in Madrid, dedicates over 600 m² to organics. Even though many organic stores, restaurants, and producing companies already exist in Spain, this is a special project: it tries to cover all areas of the eco movement around health and wellness, and is paying special attention to everything concerning children and families. Espacio Orgánico has been developed in phases. The supermarket opened in October 2012, offering a full organic assortment with 6,000 products.
 
A restaurant followed a year later. The Ecobar was created to make it possible to taste and enjoy organic dishes made with the products from the supermarket. It offers many styles of food: vegan, vegetarian and dishes made with meat are on the menu, as well as meals for people with any kind of intolerance. It aims to show that meals with organic ingredients can be offered at a low price, meaning that everyone can benefit from an energetic and healthy cuisine. A daily meal is offered, and the menu price is 13,90 euros. The chef is ready to share his expertise with his guests. All meals can be prepared for take-away too, and the company is offering its catering services.
 
Just recently, yoga classes started and a small therapy centre followed soon. Now the company is working on their next steps - this includes their own organic farm and a service for organic plantation at home.
