Lucius Tamm will hand over his position in the FIBL Switzerland directorate of three to his successor, Beate Huber, on April 1. Tamm will continue to serve on the FIBL Executive Board as head of the Department of Crop Sciences, according to a press release from the institute.

Huber has been with FIBL since 2002. In 2009, she was appointed to the Executive Board as head of the Department of International Cooperation. She is president of FIBL Europe and was deputy director of FiBL Switzerland from 2017 to 2020.

The Directorate of FIBL Switzerland has been led by a three-member board since April 2020. Knut Schmidtke is responsible for research, extension and innovation. Marc Schärer is responsible for Finance, Resources and Administration. The rotating position of cooperation director is always filled by a different department head, according to media information, and now goes to Beate Huber.

"I am very much looking forward to the new challenge as director at FIBL Switzerland. The high level of identification of our employees with FiBL, our innovative strength and a healthy as well as stable growth of the institute are cornerstones of our corporate culture, which I would like to further strengthen," Huber informs.
