BioFach America: 28,000 visitors expected

From 14 to16 September 2017 BioFach America – All Things Organic will run parallel to the Natural Products Expo in the Baltimore Convention Center. Around 190 exhibitors will be presenting their products. More than 1,500 companies and over 28,000 visitors will make their way to Baltimore. BioFach America is becoming international: Korea, Argentina and Poland will each have its own pavilion. Firms in, for example, Italy, Britain, France and the Netherlands have registered their participation.

Natural Products Business School on the day before BioFach America launches

A highlight in the programme of the trade fair duo is the Natural Products Business School, that will hold a workshop on the day before the fair opens. Working together with the attendees, the workshop will address business solutions to special problems encountered in the green industry and will show the best ways to set up networks. Awaiting the participants on the first day of the fair will be once again the so-called Pitch-Slam Competition. The main prize is a free stand at the Natural Products Expo East in 2018.

Natural Products Expo East 2017 with lots of highlights

The conference programme will again address a whole range of topics. For example, visitors can look forward to lectures on the advantages of hemp products and many presentations by exhibitors. Something else for visitors to focus on is the  keynote speech of the international best seller author Jonathon Safran Foer on Friday. He will be speaking about his road trip, during which he visited livestock farms all over the USA – from small family-owned organic farms to factory farms. After this experience the question he asks is not so much: “Can we eat that?” as “Should we eat that?”  Foer will talk about his book that deals with what he experienced and and his thoughts about this issue.
