As the Hamburg-based skin care giant announced, the ‘Stop The Water While Using Me’ brand has been part of the group since February.

The brand, which is to be continued as an independent company, was founded in 2011 by Stefan Kolle, co-founder of the advertising agency Kolle Rebbe. The range includes solid, waterless body and hair care products, as well as shower, hand, body and oral hygiene products. The products are available online and “in more than 150 design hotels and 350 stores worldwide”, according to the company. According to Olivia Wahrbichler from Communications Management at Stop The Water While Using Me, the latter include classic retailers such as Breuninger, Ludwig Beck or Kauf Dich Glücklich as well as various online retailers such as GreenGlam or Avocado-Store. “The focus of our retailers is diverse and ranges from natural cosmetics or beauty to design or department stores.” She stated that the takeover is not expected to change the sales strategy, saying that the focus of Stop The Water While Using Me is particularly on the expansion of their core business, which includes not only our online shop but also covers the sustainable hotel market”.

Non-certified natural cosmetics

The products of Stop The Water While Using Me are not certified. Although they comply with the guidelines of common natural cosmetics labels like Cosmos or Natrue, “we consciously refrain from certifying our end products in order to invest the money wisely in projects we are fully committed to”, says Olivia Wahrbichler. An example for this is the water protection project of the Good Water Projects initiative.
