by Editor (comments: 0)

Every three years IFOAM - Organics International and the Rural Development Administration (RDA) honour the excellent work of organic innovators with the Organic Farming Innovation Award (OFIA)

These organisations are now calling on the organic movement to submit examples of outstanding work carried out by organic innovators around the globe so that they can be considered for the OFIA 2017. What IFOAM - Organics International and the Rural Development Administration are looking for are innovations that

  • are new in their context
  • are applicable to organic farming, processing and trade
  • are relevant for solving real problems or exploring new potential
  • have the potential to make a big impact.

The award ceremony will take place during the 19th edition of the Organic World Congress (OWC), to be held from 9 – 11 November in New Delhi, India. The winning applicants are granted travel and accommodation costs as well as free registration for the OWC.

More information can be found here or you can go directly to the application form here. Please note that the deadline is 31 March 2017. Applications can be submitted in English, French, German, Spanish, Mandarin or Korean.

Please apply as a matter of urgency, and the best of luck!
