Organic Farma Zdrowia, an operator of delicatessen chains offering organic food products, reported a 20 % year-on-year increase in sales revenues in H1 2012, recording PLN 18. 9m (€ 4.6 m). The company ended the first half of 2012 in the red, with a net loss of PLN 385,000 (€ 94,400). In the corresponding period of the prior year, the firm also recorded a net loss of PLN 220,000 (€ 54,000).

In the second quarter of 2012, the company carried out a remodel of its delicatessen in the Silesia shopping centre in Katowice, and it also modernised and expanded one of its stores in Warsaw. Organic Farma Zdrowia has also begun selling several dozen of its products under the private brands Healthy Day (offering mostly goods from the premium segment) and Healthy Kids.

Organic Farma Zdrowia did not open any new locations throughout the first half of 2012. However, it did sign a lease agreement in Konstancin, where it plans to launch a new store in late August. According to the company's report, between January and June 2012 the company closed two stores in Krakow that were unprofitable. There are still unprofitable locations within the chain that negatively affect its results. Sales through its online store - ekosfera.24.pl - rose in the double digits year-on-year in H1 2012.
