UK/Ireland: Organic places to stay

by Redaktion (comments: 0)

Linda Moss created www.organicholidays.co.uk ten years ago with a wide selection of places to choose from in this website directory of organic holidays. She is married with three grown up children and two grandchildren, and has lived in Guiseley, West Yorkshire all her life. Ms Moss has now revised and updated a guide for places to stay in the UK and Ireland. The third edition of Organic Places to Stay has over 175 new entries, with a selection of organic places to stay in Ireland, and gives all the information one needs for an organic holiday.

It includes bed and breakfasts, guest houses and small hotels offering organic, local and sometimes home-grown produce, as well as self-catering accommodation on organic farms, generally in renovated farm buildings, and camp sites on organic farms and smallholdings, ranging from those where to pitch the own tent to more luxurious camping in a yurt. There are new symbols in the third edition of the book, so it is easy to see at a glance if meals contain organic produce or fresh organic produce to buy are available either on-site or within five miles of the holiday accommodation. The book includes 588 accommodation entries and is available at Green Books, ISBN 978 1 900322 44 7, 300 pp in full colour for £ 12.95 here
