by Redaktion (comments: 0)

H&M has published its Conscious Actions Sustainability Report. The company reveals the following highlights: H&M is the number one user of organic cotton in the world. More than 442,000 workers in Bangladesh have been trained on their rights since 2008 by H&M, and the company saved 300 million liters of water in denim production compared to 2010. More than 2,3 million garments were donated to charitable causes.

Furthermore, organic hemp was introduced to the growing range of conscious materials. 100 % of the cotton will come from more sustainable sources, including Better Cotton, organic cotton and recycled cotton by 2020. The full report as well as a summary of its highlights are available to read and download at hm.com/consciousactions2011
