Organic Danish roses win award at Plantarium

The international horticultural trade fair Plantarium took place at the International Trade Centre Boskoop-Hazerswoude in the Netherlands from 27 to 30 August 2014. Over 300 participants offered trade visitors insights into the latest developments in their range and product marketing. The 17,180 international visitors were able to enjoy a very atmospheric trade fair. The highlights of this edition were the 99 plant novelties, the 20 sample gardens, the sustainability area, the technology demonstrations. the Plantarium Experience Centre with demonstrations and the entries for the press award.
 

Plant‘n‘Relax Bio Tube by Roses Forever from Denmark won the Plantarium Press Award in the category "concepts" (see picture). The jury felt that the Plant‘n‘Relax Bio Tube concept was both original and practical. It is consumer-friendly, handy and trendy and very suitable for online sales.

Plant’n’Relax Bio Tube consists of organically-grown garden roses, packed in promotional packaging that is very easy for both the retailer and the customer to handle. The tube includes a packet of fertilizer that the customer adds when planting. The roses are easy to bring home in a bag, and are suited as a gift item. Many garden centres and buyers from florist chains have already showed considerable interest.
