The Vinos Cambronero winery has received further international recognition with the recent attainment of four new gold medals. The latest edition of the prestigious France-based international wine guide Gilbert & Gaillard 2014 has awarded the medals to the four organic red wines Franchete Assemblage 2011; Franchete Cabernet Sauvignon 2007; Franchete Barrica 2005; and Finca Lastonar, which the Manchegan winery, situated in Fuentealbilla municipality in Albacete province, has produced. The Gilbert & Gaillard guide provides access to over 35,000 tasted wines.

The Vinos Cambronero winery produces signature winesexclusively using organic grapes from the vine varieties of the family holding: Cabernet Sauvignon, Bobal, Tempranillo, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Alicante Bouschet. They are bottled under the Franchete and Finca Lastonar brand names.

These new awards are in addition to other previously won prizes, such as those obtained in the following competitions: Mundus Vini Biofach, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Premios Mezquita, Concurso Ecoracimos and the Cata Concurso de vinos de la agricultura ecológica (Organic Wine Competition) of the city of Estella-Lizarra Hiria. The Peñín Guide has also given outstanding scores to wines from this winery.
