by Redaktion (comments: 0)

Offering a competition forum for boutique brands of similar production and distribution to compare quality in taste and aesthetic design on the same  field, the MicroLiquor Spirit Awards is the first of its kind competition, aimed at bringing more awareness and resources to small brands. In its inaugural year, the MicroLiquor Spirit Awards attracted 207 spirits entries from craft producers across the globe. Amid a field of international competitors, judges awarded American-produced Blue Ice Organic Wheat Vodka a Triple Gold Medal, the highest distinction awarded at the competition. Recipients of the Triple Gold Medal indicate Gold Medal designations from the judges in Taste and Package & Design categories.

"Blue Ice is honored to receive this exciting award," said Kevin Egan, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Blue Ice Vodka. "Our commitment to producing American homegrown quality vodka has remained steadfast for the past ten years. We consider this recognition especially rewarding and thank MicroLiquor and its sponsors for helping boost awareness for small brands like us."

Blue Ice Organic Wheat Vodka is a blend of pristine Idaho water and locally harvested USDA certified organic winter wheat. These elements in combination with a special distillation process produce a vodka with subtle taste and smoothness, PR Newswire reports. Blue Ice Organic Wheat Vodka is a family-owned, handcrafted spirit designed to please the vodka connoisseur, as well as the environmentally-conscious consumer.
