Organic Food To Consumers Doors

An organic fruit and veg doorstep delivery service is expanding into Cumbria.

Farmaround is branching out from its base in Richmond, north Yorkshire, 12 years after starting up.

Founder Isobel Davies explained: “We aim to extend the reach of our organic produce and grocery deliveries across Cumbria to meet consumer need for these products.”

Produce is delivered in recyclable paper bags that are collected from customers to be used again and cardboard is recycled in Farmaround’s own crusher.

Deliveries in the Carlisle area started beginning of April 2006.
