Nature & More wins Sustainable Entrepreneurship Award

The Sustainable Entrepreneurship Awards 2013 were handed out during a ceremony in Vienna, Austria, in April. The motto of the SEA Gala 2013 was: “Sustainability is in your hands”.

Nature & More received the award in the category "Services & Development" (see picture). The international trace & tell transparency system for organic food was elected by a high profile jury out of 260 participants from 30 different countries. Volkert Engelsman, CEO and founder of Nature & More, is delighted with the award: “There is no sustainability without transparency. This award confirms once again, that we are on the right track with our mission to break through the anonymity of the present-day food market. This is a tremendous motivation not only for us but also for our organic growers and customers around the world. ”
 

After winning the German Ecocare award for sustainable projects in 2012, the SE Award is the second prestigious award for Nature & More within a year, the company reports. The Nature & More  "trace & tell" system was developed from 2004 onwards by Dutch-based Eosta, an international distributor of organic fruits and vegetables. Products by Nature & More carry a stamp with a portrait of the grower and a simple code. Consumers can use the code to check all sustainable achievements of the grower online, through an integrated sustainability model called "the sustainability flower".
