Italy: NaturaSì opens a new store

by Redaktion (comments: 0)

On November 29, a new NaturaSì store opened its doors. It is the largest store specialized in organic products in the province, with a sales area of 250 square meters and an assortment of 4,000 certified products. At the opening day, tastings and a presentation were scheduled, reports Greenplanet. The owners, Armando Raccone and his wife, who formerly owned a small organic shop in Biella, decided to open a NaturaSì supermarket to meet the growing demand for organic products and to make those more accessible for a wider clientele.

The NaturaSì formula, according to Mr. Raccone, appears to be very effective thanks to the important work done for quality and transparency to consumers. Among the initiatives of NaturaSì is a project especially important in the time of an economic crisis, called "Stop the prices - zero increases" - a low-cost basket with sixty organic products for the same prices as last year, which was made possible by an agreement of producers, distributors and retailers.

The supermarket is expected to become a place of reference in Biella for customers increasingly sensitive for the quality of what they buy for sake of the environment and biodiversity and of the work of small producers. These values are consistently supported by NaturaSì through much more than only organic products – also by energy saving, the use of shopper obtained from the recycling of Tetrapak containers, wooden furniture without toxic paints, and the printing of promotional material on recycled paper, for example.
