H & S Biobeeren in Austria Reports Good Harvest

The company H & S Biobeeren (organic berries) started its business a few ago with 14.000 raspberry plants on 3 ha. During the previous season, they sold 1,000 kg of raspberries and blackberries to organic stores in Vienna. This year, the acreage was expanded to 7.2 ha. Because of the favourable weather, the harvest went up to 10,000 kg of berries. They were marketed in organic stores in the Vienna region. Interested customers can pick their berries themselves and also buy processed goods like syrup, vinegar, oil or jam on the spot. The processed goods are for sale online as well. Since the interest in berries keeps on growing, the acreage will be increased again next year.
