Australian Organic announces new CEO

Australian Organic has appointed Paul Stadhams (see picture) to the position of CEO. Paul has a background in the agriculture and food processing sectors and was most recently a state administration and operations manager with national fresh produce wholesaler Moraitis. 
 

Chair of Australian Organic Dr Andrew Monk says Paul’s appointment heralds a new era for the company: “Paul’s experience with one of the country’s largest wholesalers has given him valuable experience with supply chains from producers to retailers and he has brilliant team leadership skills.” Paul states he is excited to be a part of this growth and takes up the position of CEO with eagerness to further increase the profile of organics. Australian Organic began 25 years ago as Biological Farmers of Australia. In 2012, the not for profit group changed its name to reflect its core business of promoting and educating about organics.
