Award for organic horse livery in the UK

Judges of the Environment Awards for Kent Business 2007 acknowledged the enterprise for careful waste management, creation of new habitat and woodland, and restoration of ponds and wild flower meadows.

According to Mr. Ferrin, Kent County Council’s Cabinet Member, the company had worked hard to limit the mark it left on the local environment and, in common with the many other organisations that took part in this year’s awards, was showing how it could be done and therefore encouraged others to follow suit.

Susi Anderson, manager at Stone Circle Livery, said that they were delighted to have done so well in these awards because it recognised the importance they placed on environmental issues at the core of their business philosophy.
