Argencert in Chile

Argencert has started its certification activity in Chile, represented by its subsidiary Argencert Chile Ltda. Argencert Chile Ltda has been registered with the number 4 in the SAG organic certifier’s register and is one of the first Chilean companies accredited to certify under the new law 20.089. The agency’s offices are strategically located in a central point of commercial activity in Santiago de Chile.

 

Argencert has been dedicated to the certification of primary products, processed products and inputs, guaranteeing the organic quality of production from its origin to the final result, since 1991. It certifies fresh fruit and vegetables, grains and cereals, oils, juice concentrates, wine, jams, honey, beef, lamb, aromatic and medicinal herbs, wild products, tea, mate tea, etc., in compliance with international requirements. Having multiple international accreditations allows Argencert to issue certificates which are recognized in the most important markets in the world: in the European Union, the United States and in Japan and Switzerland, for example.

 

As a member of Certibionet, the International Association of Organic Certification Bodies, it is recognized worldwide for excellence and quality. It participates in numerous fairs, congresses, seminars, trade missions and international task forces and has performed consultancies for international organizations such as FAO, UNCTAD and IFOAM.
