9th European Bioplastics Conference announced

European Bioplastics has announced the 9th European Bioplastics Conference – the leading international business forum for the bioplastics industry in Europe. The conference will take place on 2 - 3 December 2014 at The Square in Brussels, Belgium.
 

From the use of renewable sources to diversified waste management options – bioplastics offer the opportunity to realise an efficient circular bioeconomy in Europe. The innovative force and dynamic growth of the European bioplastics industry enables it to be a key player in putting Europe on the road towards true resource efficiency.

Each year, approximately 350 to 400 experts from around the globe come together demonstrating the conference’s valuable contribution to networking and the exchange of information. The mix of expert presentations includes industry innovations, material and application developments, as well as latest policy trends. Social evenings, an interactive conference format, exclusive networking areas, and a digital partnering tool connect stakeholders and leading bioplastics experts. An exhibition brings together companies from different parts of the bioplastic value chain. For this year‘s event, registration opens in April 2014. The call for papers will be published soon.

European Bioplastics is the European association representing the interests of the industry along the complete bioplastics' value chain. Its members produce, refine and distribute bioplastics i.e. plastics that are either biobased, compostable, or both. More information is available here.
