Textile Exchange: 2013 conference a great success

The 2013 Textile Sustainability Conference held in Istanbul on 11, 12, and 13 November was a huge success, Textile Exchange reports. Over the course of three days, 300 delegates were hosted, representing the entire textile industry from farmers, manufacturers, input suppliers, brands, and retailers from 40 countries.
 
The mix of topics, collaborative working sessions, and people brought both old and new topics to life. In keeping with their mission to "inspire and equip," Textile Exchange is providing a complimentary overview of the conference. While conference attendees will continue to have exclusive access to more in-depth materials, including presentations, this overview, the first ever Conference Diary, provides a summary of the sessions and gives a view into the learning and co-creating of solutions that took place.
