USA: Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association conference announced

The Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association’s 35th annual conference - Affirming Our Roots, Breaking New Ground - will take place in Granville, Ohio, on 15 and 16 February 2014. A full-day pre-conference event will be offered on 14 February 2013. Registration will open in December.
 
Ohio's largest sustainable agriculture event will feature Kathleen Merrigan, the former US Deputy Secretary of Agriculture from 2009 to 2013, and Atina Diffley, organic farmer, consultant, activist, and author, as keynote speakers. Approximately 100 workshops on sustainable farming, gardening, homesteading, cooking, and livestock will take place as well as a trade show featuring dozens of businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies offering an array of food, information,  products, and services. Delicious meals will be prepared from locally sourced and organic ingredients. There will also be a kids' conference, teen conference, and childcare as well as Saturday night entertainment.
