Natural Cosmetics Conference in Berlin

by Redaktion (comments: 0)

Sustainability, its implementation and the identity of natural cosmetics are integral parts of this year´s Natural Cosmetics Conference held at the Hotel Ellington in Berlin (Germany) on 24 and 25 September 2013. The conference addresses decision-makers of the entire cosmetics trade.

The conference program promises interesting presentations, inspiring discussions and an opportunity for networking. Conference participants will meet international experts, who will provide in-depth investigations. One of the current trade topics in the focus of the international audience will be the question: What constitutes natural cosmetics and how can consumers determine “true" natural cosmetics?

Today’s consumers expect efficient products with high tolerance, pleasantly fragranced and with no residual build-up on the skin - natural cosmetics have to meet expectations just like every other cosmetic product. Due to intensive Research & Development, natural cosmetics today can keep up in efficacy and tolerance, especially in the category of creams and lotions. A few product groups, however, e.g. sun protection and hair color, are proving difficult due to limitations of raw materials.

There is a greater demand for production companies to conserve resources within the framework of climate protection. How does the market react to the demands and limitations within the feasibility of natural cosmetics? This will also be a topic of presentations. During Panel B on the second conference day, expert contributions focusing on "Everything is feasible – everything is OK?" will initiate discussions on the topics of desire vs. reality in R&D, the quality of raw materials, sensors of natural cosmetics and prevailing conditions.
