Italy: organic ice cream delivered by bicycle

Home delivery of organic ice cream by bicycle in Turin – this service has just beein introduced by Biogelateria in Italy, AIAB reports. All ice cream and sorbets are certified organic and also gluten-free. The company has already been awarded for the excellence of their ice cream by Slow Food and the Piedmont Region.

One can choose from a nice range of ice cream with fanciful names like “Black and White”, “La Vie en Rose”, and then order online. Deliveries take place from Monday to Sunday in the afternoon and evening, one hour after ordering. For each kilogram of ice cream sold, one euro is donated to the food bank.
