25 years Amy’s Kitchen

Founded 25 years ago in Sonoma County, California, Amy's is a world leader in the production of natural and organic convenience foods. Named after Andy and Rachel Berliner's daughter, Amy, the company remains a privately held, family-owned business and is one of the few remaining U.S. companies to craft its own recipes, source its own ingredients, and make its products in-house.

Amy’s is widely available in the US and Canada, and increasingly available worldwide in countries such as Great Britain, Germany, Australia. Distribution is growing in Latin America, Southeast Asia and China. The first product was “Amy’s Vegetable Pot Pie” in 1988.  As of 2013, making more than 250 organic products, ranging from an international array of frozen entrees, burritos, wraps and bowls, to soups, beans, salsa and pasta sauce, as well as sweets, including cakes, cookies and candy bars.

All of Amy’s foods are vegetarian, and free of eggs and peanuts. Rachel has always been passionate making foods for those with special dietary needs, and increasingly, many are gluten free, vegan, dairy free, cholesterol free, and light in sodium. Some are corn and soy free.
