Video: GMO-A-Go-Go

Natural News have teamed up with Infomatic Films to produce a cartoon video about genetically modified organisms and their benefits - for the biotech industry. The animated film informs on the dangers of GMOs in the friendly style of a 1950′s American informational cartoon.

The film starts with a horror theme and then reveals how genetically modified seeds and crops are made and how they produce pesticides within the plants to kill insects, Digital Journal reports. The viewers also learn that these insects are now getting immune to the built-in pesticides. It also deals with scientific tests and introduces farmers in India who are being “recycled” in an effort to take away the debt from their families. The 9 minute film is available here.
