Meetings for the Canadian organic sector

The Organic Federation of Canada will hold its Annual General Assembly at the Prestige Hotel in Vernon (British Colombia) on 22 February 2013. It is a public meeting. Details are available here .

This year, the Certified Organic Association of British Colombia commemorates its 20th anniversary. Their conference Organics: Past, Present and Future will also take place in Vernon from 22 to 24 February 2013. More information is available here. Organic Alberta's conference Building Sustainability - The Organic Way will take place in Olds, Alberta, from 26 to 27 February 2013.
 

The Organic Federation of Canada's members have been very active, facing common challenges such as the lack of intra-provincial regulations and of financial sustainability to promote the growth of the local organic sector. Their reports are available here.
