Italy: School canteens in Milan to offer organic fruit

School canteens in Milan are supplied with 50,000 kg of oranges from GaranziaAIAB Italia thanks to an agreement signed by Milano Ristorazione, a company that delivers 80,000 meals to schools a day, and AIAB. 400 schools are receiving the oranges in February 2013. In March 2013, organic apples will follow.
GaranziaAIAB Italia is the collective trademark for the members of AIAB. Their products have to meet strict requirements: among others, they have to be organic and come from Italy.
