UK: My Green Directory announce new award

My Green Directory will be hosting a new award, The PEA-ple’s Favourite Award, which will be presented at the third annual PEA Awards in October 2013. The PEA Awards celebrates inspirational individuals already making a difference, from raising awareness, travelling responsibly and proving ethical best practice to creating technologies, designing products and services and developing specific campaigns. It honours those who have demonstrated the importance of sustainability and celebrates their contributions to the green agenda.

For the new PEA-ple’s Favourite Award, My Green Directory is asking for the people’s vote, to nominate their favourite green company who delivers the best environmental practice and / or products. It is an award that recognises the importance of individual recommendations so instead of the winner being selected by a panel of judges, this award is voted for by the general public giving a true indication of public support of green companies.
