UK: Natural and Organic Award winners 2012

The winners of the Natural and Organic Awards 2012 were announced at the Natural and Organic Products Show at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London on 1 April 2012. The annual ceremony, now in its 7th year, recognizes and celebrates the organic industry’s most innovative and impressive businesses and products in the categories retail, textile, and beauty. The winners in the organic categories are:
 

Best Organic Retail Award: Daylesford Farmshop at Ocado. 
Daylesford Farmshop offers a wide range of products like meat and poultry; fruit and vegetables; bread; and cheese, milk and yoghurt (picture).
 

Best Organic Textile Product Award: Jackpot Jeans
Jackpot Organic is one of the biggest producers of sustainable fashion in the Nordic region. Jackpot’s loose-fit, 100 % organic jeans are certified by the Soil Association to GOTS.
 

Best Organic Skincare Product Award: Pukka Ayurveda Firming Facial Oil
