Australia: Pure & Green Organics shop now open

Pure & Green Organics has opened their first shop at Stanmore in New South Wales. The launch party was on 23 October 2010, with a vegan brunch and 20 % off the entire range. Free skin consultation was offered, as well as product trials and a gift with purchase. The store will be open six days a week. The party had been advertised with a sizeable letterbox drop and advertorials and ads in local papers. 

Pure & Green Organics launched their line in 2009, which was the first – and is so far - the only certified cosmetics line by Australian Certified Organic. It is also the first cosmetic company to use 100 % post-consumer-recycled cardboard caps for product bottles. The NatureWorks BIOpack bottles are made from renewable plant sugar resources (PLA). The attractive bottles feature an 'airless pump' design with some distinct benefits. All of the brochures and the cardboard in the packaging are made from 100 % recycled paper. Consumers are realising that three or four high quality certified organic products are all it takes to properly keep all skin types clean, nourished, protected and looking beautiful. Pure and Green focus on providing customers with superior results that are sustainable, therefore a sensible number of products are offered, which means less packaging and less environmental impact without compromising effectiveness. The range consists of about 20 products for face, body and hair. Also, a toothpaste has just been launched and a deodorant will soon be available. All products are ACO certified, vegan, are not tested on animals, contain no palm oil, packed in bio plant packaging and are made in Australia, with a large percentage of ingredients sourced from Australia. At Organic Expo, the line Rejuvenate (picture) has just won the silver medal for the best product, and Pure & Green Organics won the bronze medal for the best product range.
