Brazil participates in BioFach Japan

by Redaktion (comments: 0)

Biofach Japan, the most important organic fair in Asia, will take place in Tokyo from 21 to 23 of September, with the presence of three Brazilian companies associated with the Organics Brasil Project. The companies Surya, Jalles Machado and Canaspirit want to explore and expand the participation of Brazilian products in the Asian market. "The Japanese market is important to conceptualize the Brazilian products. It's a smaller market compared to the markets in Europe and in the United States, but it is still interesting for products such as rum, cotton clothing and Brazilian sugar. Cosmetics are already known to be sold in big stores of the segment by good appeals and ingredients of the Amazon. Prospects for business are very good and we present ourselves in this fourth edition of the project to consolidate the image of the product in Brazil, " said Liu Ming, executive coordinator of the Organics Brasil Project. The cosmetics company Surya, which also took part in previous editions of the fair, counts on creating new business opportunities and on maintaining their relationship with customers for their product lines with ingredients from Amazon. The sugar producer Jalles Machado premieres at the Organics Brasil Project, while the company CanaSpirit wins international buyers with its traditional white rum. In the first half of 2010, the Project Organics Brazil closed 12 million US$ in business with the participation in three international fairs. The project was created to promote Brazil’s organic products in the international market, uniting companies and producers under the banner of a single brand, whilst attending the strictest socio-environmental suitability standards. The Organics Brasil Project is the result of a combined action from the private initiative (the Institute for the Promotion of Development and the Federation of the Industries of the State of Paraná), and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investment), comprising a solid institutional base aiming to strengthen the Brazilian organics sector and encouraging its growth in the international market.
