Bodywise: National winners of Small to Medium Sized Business Awards in the UK

Bristol based manufacturer, Bodywise (UK) Ltd, have been announced as the national winners of the Small to Medium Sized Business Awards in the UK sponsored by HSBC Bank Plc, for their outstanding commitment to international trade and export. Bodywise are responsible for Natracare, a global brand champion of certified organic and natural feminine hygiene products and are the leader in a growing developing market where people are seeking healthy and low environmental impact products. 
 

The company has now established a viable and sustainable, unique brand in over 50 export markets, which has contributed to their market growth and helped sales to grow to 7 million £ even in the recently testing times. Susie Hewson, Founder and International Sales and Marketing Director for Bodywise (UK) Ltd, explains: “International interest in our products came much quicker than from our home markets and after a few short years; we launched into the North American market, applying uncharacteristic commercial bravery for a company as small as ours. Over time we have established Natracare in more than 50 countries including the emerging markets of China, Russia and South Korea, taking on both the regulatory and export requirements for trade. I am sure that our company success demonstrates that it will be small to medium sized companies that will being taking the lead in Britain’s economic recovery, and where better to start than in the commercially depressed regions of Britain.”
