Geo Fair Trade at BioFach 2010

At BioFach 2010, the exhibitors exclusively devoted to Fair Trade (Associations, Producers and manufacturers, services, etc.) were grouped in one of the international halls under the main heading "Organic + Fair". But over 300 hundred of the other organic exhibitors displaye their Fair Trade involvement and / or products at their "organic" stands. The Geo Fair Trade Conference was one of four other conferences related to the subject of Fairness in Trade.

Geo Fair Trade was represented by three of the eleven project partners: Pierre Ott from Ecoceert presented the project as a whole, Quentin Leroy from CRA-W exposed the sustainable development indicators in conjunction with the fair trade commitments, and Benjamin Cousin from Max Havelaar France talked about the interests of the Fair Trade movement in the Geo Fair Trade Project. About 40 participants shared their concerns and expressed their wishes during discussion after the presentations. Geo Fair Trade will be present at Bio Fach 2011 with another conference. The participation will be enhanced through targeted communication means towards the exhibitors as well as to the visitors.
