Ethical Fashion during London Fashion Week

by Redaktion (comments: 0)

The Ethical Fashion Forum returned in partnership with The Hospital Club to see out London Fashion Week in style. On February 23, 2010, work by several EFF designers, including My Only One for THTC, MIA, Beautiful Soul, Julia Smith, Henrietta Ludgate and Amisha Jewellery was showcased. Ethical designer Ada Zanditon's A/W 2010 collection “EchoLocation”, and Hospital Club member, Trousers London, latest organic denim collection was also presented. The guests were also able to see the introduction of "The Designers Dress Up Closet". Rather than a traditional catwalk format, they went interactive and gave their guests the opportunity to adorn themselves in the designers wares. The Ethical Fashion Photo Booth transformed the guests into the limelight with the opportunity to be photographed by a professional fashion photographer for those wearing sustainably produced fashion.

The host of designers at “A Celebration of Ethical Fashion” are an inspiring cross section of some of the shining emerging stars in fashion today. The continued support of both The Hospital Club and industry supporters such as the British Fashion Council’s Eco Mentor Programme and Ethical Fashion Forum’s EFF Innovation Programme help enable designers to get the support  and mentorship they need to showcase the values behind their brand. The Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF) is a not for profit network focusing upon social and environmental sustainability in the fashion industry. The EFF network connects thousands of individuals, businesses, and organisations interested in a more sustainable future for fashion.
