Italy: Biotrend products at Lidl

At Lidl stores in Italy, soy drinks, apple juice and flour of the brand Biotrend have been available since this summer. In November, frozen vegetables were added to the range, GDO Week reports. Natural soy drink is made exclusively from organic soybeans of Italian origin, processed and packed in Italy. Apple juice is produced with apples from Germany, and the flower type “00” comes from Germany as well.
 

Biotrend is part of the Lidl’ s new philosophy that aims at reaching Lidl’s customers who make ethical and responsible choices. For this reason, the range of Lidl has also added products carrying the fair trade label as well as MSC items, a new line of household cleaners with low environmental impact named W5 and new diet articles branded Linessa.
