Semana Bio in Portugal

Interbio – Interprofessional Association for Biological Agriculture – promotes the 3rd Edition of Semana Bio (Organic Week) in Portugal - from 15 to 23 of November, 2008. The association anticipates reaching the success of previous editions, promoting an ample spreading of organic agriculture and its products to Portuguese consumers.

Hundreds of events will take place all over the country. Some important issues are the visit of the President to explore organic agriculture, the signature of an Iberian Letter for the support and development of organic agriculture, and the market Interbio – show and sale of products in the Place of Terreiro do Paço, Lisbon. There will also be the 2nd National Competition of "My School is Organic".
